Nintendo switch and $200 gift card for target

I signed up for Verizon internet and activated it on 04/11. I was told I needed to wait 65 days to earn my promotional items and have gone through several phone and chat conversations with Verizon and absolutely no resolution almost 3 months later… I first reached out and they told me they would add the “tile” to my app in 5 days, 5 days later nothing. I then reached out again and was told they would do the same thing. Instead I received an email with a promotional code that told me to enter after putting a Nintendo Switch into my cart and it came back with an error message. Then I reached out again but tried via chat to see if someone could help me quickly, they told me 5 days and it should be resolved. 5 days go by, nothing. I call Vzw this time and the representative tells me they never put in the request for the “tile” on my app??? So then she just told me she would do that and there has still been no resolution. 

Why is this so difficult to redeem these offers? It was a big reason I signed up for this service.

The customer service has been anything but helpful and it’s starting to make me think I should just cancel  my phone line too since I’m spending $100+/month for that. 

anyone else experience this or have a resolution?
