Not Much Signal At Times

My experience began well at the store. The problems began when I tried to set up the extender at home. It failed and I called Verizon for help. A Verizon tech and I troubleshot the system and found the new extender bad. All great. It took me over three hundred and fifty chats with multiple people who made unfulfilled promises to get my replacement. I have plus which is supposed to give me a good signal. Two days ago I was at 20 mbps which is terrible for our area.
I enrolled in autopay when I chose to go the home Internet route. I checked in mid-May to make sure everything was good to pay Juneโs bill. I was assured it was. Nope! It didnโt pay and I was assessed a late fee. I called. Verizon. They were having problems with my card and asked if Iโd make a manual payment. I paid with the same card they said they were having issues with. Verizon took away my $40 discount for paying my bill manually (non-compliance with auto pay) and charged me a late fee too. I called again. Auto pay was set for Jun 25th. That didnโt happen. I called the 26th,, 28 and my problem was still unresolved. July 1 went by and I was late again. I called again today. Iโm told now that notes have been added to my account today so that the late fee and non-compliance fees can be removed. But, first they will be assessed, then I have to call again to ask them to be removed per the notes. How long? At least three months! It is an error in their system. This doesnโt directly impact them but Iโm going to have to explain 4-6 months of late payments because of their issues.
Take it for what is worth: poor/ineffective chat support, poor/ineffective call support, possible direct impact to you all for a Wi-Fi system that may only generate 20 mbps.

What router do you have?
What's your 5G signal strength? You can go to the router page under the status. Weak signal strength will cause the issues you are referencing as well.

Thanks - Iโll give it a try. With the router in the same location I have been over 200Mbps once I think, but usually when I check I am routinely 20Mbps to 80Mbps; the most recent was 18Mbps.
