Returned Equipment Issue

Verizon sent me to collections for the cost of unreturned equipment despite confirming for 3 months that the equipment has been returned.

 

I returned the equipment and got a bill the following month for unreturned equipment.  I called and Verizon confirmed that they had received the equipment and I could disregard the bill.  This happened for 3 consecutive months.

 

Then, Verizon sent my bill to collections.  I called Verizon again, at which time they again confirmed that they received my equipment.  Despite this, they refused to correct the issue and told me I had to work through the collection agency.  

 

This it the type of company Verizon is.  They should be avoided at all costs!
