Router Issues: Only 1 download at a time?

Hi. I recently upgraded my Internet to 300Mbps with the latest Verizon Router (6GHz, etc).  Now, while downloading a file on my home PC (such as a music file), I can't do anything else. To be clear, not only can't I download a 2nd file at the same time (I used to be able to download 5 or more music files at the same time), I can't even visit another web page. The browser just churns and churns (or will time-out) until the music file finishes downloading. I'm assuming this is some kind of security protocol, but it's literally crippling my ability to get any work done (I'm a recording engineer). Are there some settings I can change in this router to get back the performance I enjoyed with my old router?!

Thanks in advance

Hey there, sandrak17, we understand it's important to use your Home Internet to get your work done. Were there any other changes aside from swapping out your router? Are you seeing fast 5G speeds when using the service?
