Hello All,
If this is not the right forum please point me in the right direction. This is the closest thing I could find to a technical forum.
Here is my deal. I am a new 5G Home Internet customer, migrating over from Comcast. I have a number of computers here, and they send me email messages to alert me of issues from time to time (like low disk space).
I use Fedora Linux heer at home, and with Comcast all I had to do was set up Postfix and add relayhost = [smtp.comcast.net]:587 to /etc/postfix/main.cf
I have read that Verizon has completely dumped the email business, so I am guessing there is no equivalent relayhost for Verizon. How can I get my systems to send email while using 5G Home Internet?
Thanks.
