Just unboxed the NCM1100 to trial the ($50/100mb) service . It is upstairs near a window where I am seeing fairly steady 2-bar signal strength.
So far it appears to be doing well enough. Speed tests consistently at ~100mb down/15ish up. I was streaming Amazon and YT video from three devices simultaneously last night with good results.
My needs are modest. Single old guy. Not a gamer. Ring cameras all over the property. Several smartspeakers. Two TVs I rarely watch and then just movies on YT and Amazon.
I have a sturdy, trusty, somewhat old router that has been connected to the Spectrum modem that all the above currently point to.
Thinking about pros/cons of connecting my router through the Verizon gateway. Any thoughts, comments or opinions welcome and appreciated. Cheers.

Matters what your sturdy old router is. If it's not a Wifi 6E, I would not bother and use the Verizon router instead, it's newer technology.
What I personally do is just change the SSID/Password to exactly what your old information was so then most of your devices just reconnect.
