This product is terrible in Huntersville NC. Sold as 5g connection that should deliver speeds between 30 and 300 Mbps. I have the box placed on a table by the window with no other electronic equipment. I have had the product for more than 12 months. I thought maybe the service was new and performance would improve over time. Regarding speed, I've never seen a speed higher than 19 Mbps. Most days the speed ranges between 2 and 6 Mbps. Regarding connectivity, the product drops the internet connection at least once sometimes multiple times every single day. I have around 50% success rate with unplugging, waiting, then replugging in the box. Half the time internet comes back and half the time it doesn't so have to wait and try again usually multiple times. Oddly when the 5g home box has no internet connection, my phone still has 5g connection so I don't believe it is something in my home interfering with the 5g signal. This product is terrible.

I agree, terrible connection no matter what we do to improve the situation. Issues streaming and drops programs at least 15-20 times while watching tv. Will be getting g rid of this ASAP.

Jagger101, we're sorry to hear about the problems you're having with your 5G Home Internet! We don't want to get in the way of your streaming, and we'd love to take a look. What troubleshooting have you tried so far? Have you had a chance to try the Compass tool to make sure your device is in the right place to get the best signal? You can find that tool here: https://www.verizon.com/support/knowledge-base-303197/

I am in Las Vegas Nevada
I was very excited to hear that Verizon internet was finally available in my area. I've had Verizon internet for 3 months and it is always disconnecting on its own. I was supposed to recieve an Xbox series upon ordering services. I never received the Xbox. Back to Cox I go....can't take it anymore, especially being that it is almost $100 a month for basically no internet.
Very disappointed ๐
