I am considering switching from Xfinity to Verizon 5g home internet.
I wonder if the services I use are all supported. I use:
Prime, Hulu, Paramount +, Netflix and Disney.
Do these work well with 5g?or should I anticipate trouble?

Thanks for the detailed reply. I expect the change of the router's ip address will cause Netflix problems as they are actively cutting down on sharing accounts. I have experienced this when I shared mine. I wonder if anyone has figured out how to manage this.

Most if not all of those should work. However, there have been some reports from others around here about "Home Locations" changing due to a change of IP address. Hulu in particular gets brought up a lot here as having problems with the IP changes. Verizon's 5G routers don't have "Sticky" dynamic IP addresses, and each time they lose connection to the network or reboot, there's a high possibility of receiving a new IP address. This new IP address comes from a pool of addresses shared by the rest of the network, and the IPs might be pooled across a wide geographic area due to how cellular networks are designed. Cable ISPs typically distribute addresses over a much smaller geographic area (town level) so they typically always resolve to a location in the same town, and IP addresses on cable networks tend to be rather "sticky" in my experience.
So with that said, you can give the service a try and see how it behaves with your streaming services. Keep Xfinity around for a month just in case things don't work out.

You shouldn't have any problem with streaming services of such. They do have buffering capabilities if the 5G tower you are located near is congested.
Try it for a month and see what you think.

There will be no problems with Netflix as they use different information for verifying a household. Here's a link more more info: https://help.netflix.com/en/node/128339

From what I read on the Netflix link you forwarded, it seems I would need to update the Netflix household setting every time Verizon changes the IP address of my router.
