Switching from old Internet Provider

Hi,

I activated my Home Internet last week: Account # *** *** ****

Actually I already paid to my old Internet provider Spectrum for this billing cycle : July 9 - Aug 8

It seems I am paying twice for this billing cycle - I would appreciate if you can suggest me how can I get compensated for this (at least  prorated amount ) . I can provide my Spectrum bill for verification.
