Recently I have tried to connect an "Amazon Alexa Dot" 5th Generation" to my network.
I was able to connect the Echo Dot to my network with no problems. However when I tried to connect the "Amazon Smart Oven (which is an Amazon Alexa device) to my networkI I am running in to problems. Since the Amazon Smart Oven will only work on the 2.4Ghz band I have BOTH the Amazon Alexa Dot and the Amazon Smart Oven connected to my IOT network. Lately the Amazon Smart Oven just will not connect. Amazon is telling me that it should still work even though the Amazon Smart Oven has been discontinued. At this point I am thinking that I may have to use a third-party app, But there are so many apps that all do the same thing and they all claim to work with Alexa. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
