Unreturned Equipment Charges

My 5G Home Internet has been canceled since August 14, and Verizon says they going to send me a prepaid return label with the box so I can return my equipment. But I didn't receive anything in the mail for 3 weeks. Then I contacted customer service so they could send me another label, but there was still nothing. And then when I contacted them again two weeks ago, they said that they couldn't access my account. So they gave me a technical support phone number, but I still can't reach out to them. Next week will be my 30-day return period so I could get the refund for the unreturned equipment. This thing has been going on for 2 months, and I will be charged for something that I never received. I can't even return the equipment at Verizon store anyway.

We're so sorry about the issues you're having with your return. You can actually take your 5G Home Internet device to a UPS store and have them scan the device and ship it over to us without the need of a label or return material. They'll be able to ship and package the device.

I already brought it to UPS, and they say they need the label.

I am writing to express my extreme frustration and disappointment with the service I have received regarding the return of equipment and the associated charges. It has been an ongoing nightmare trying to obtain the necessary label to return the equipment as promised. Multiple calls were made, promises were broken, and I was left with no resolution in sight.
Despite sending the equipment back in November 2024, I have yet to receive a refund for the charges incurred. Each time I follow up, I am met with delays, false promises, and now contradictory information from your representatives. This lack of accountability and communication from Verizon is unacceptable.
I demand immediate action to resolve this issue and provide me with the refund I am owed. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there! We understand your concerns and would be glad to help out with this issue. I know how important it is to receive your refund and I will do my best to assist. Normally when you disconnect service a return label is automatically sent to the address on file. Have you made any changes to your address since canceling the service? When did you cancel the internet service?

I am waiting for this to be an issue for me, too. It sounds like a nightmare. And my replacement service connects this Friday -- so, I'm on the verge of going through what I hope is a smooth return process... We shall see.
