VPN Router connected to Verizon Gateway has no internet connectivity

I have an Aircove VPN router that I must use for my job. For  months I have had it connected via ethernet cable to Ethernet 1 port on my Verizon router and it worked fine. Several months ago it stopped working. The Aircove VPN Router has no internet connectivity. I have reset both the Verizon Gateway and the Aircove router many times, have tried different cables, have tried connecting the VPN Router to Ethernet 2 port. Nothing works, the VPN router has an IP address but no internet connectivity. I have connected a Roku by ethernet cable to both Ethernet 1 and 2 ports and it has internet connectivity, so the ports are working but it is like some setting has changed that is blocking my Aircove router from getting any internet connectivity.  How do I fix this?

Hello, flub, and thank you for this info. Help is here as we know how important it to have a connection for your internet services. Please tell me more. Is this regarding Verizon Wireless Home Internet or Verizon Fios?

Thanks for verifying, flub. Do you recall any changes just before you started running into issues with your VPN router? As far as the reset on the devices, was this a factory reset that was done?

Hi. I did not make any changes to the Verizon router or the VPN router. One day the VPN router just stopped having internet connectivity.  I am guessing maybe Verizon did a firmware upgrade to the Gateway or changed a setting? 

I have tried resetting both the Verizon gateway and the VPN router by powering off and on again multiple times and by pressing the Reset buttons on both.

I have now done a factory reset. It did not help. My VPN router still has no internet connectivity.
