During 2020 Verizon installed a 5G tower on our block and ran new utility lines. Fall of 2023 our local utility company was doing other work in the area which required them to scope our sewer line. They found the sewer line to be collapsed at the exact location which Verizon's new lines we ran. We can not see the lines running through the sewer, but we believe the lines may have hit the top part of it causing a collapse. It's 114 year old clay pipe 90 ft long that looks pristine on the scope everywhere else except for exactly where Verizon would have been working. I can attach a photo showing the utility markings, were the markings for Verizon's lines and the markings where the sewer is broken overlap. But I'm not sure how to attach a photo, it says I don't have permissions.
I wanted to notify Verizon and see if there is any path they want to move forward with before I initiate the work. They will be documenting all of their findings and we will be reporting it to Verizon for resolution. Please let me know the best way to contact Verizon on this matter.
