I've ordered the Wi-Fi 6E and Verizon Internet Gateway (WNC-CR200A) to get Verizon home internet. I have two questions. First, I googled this product and one of the search results was from Verizon and stated that Wi-Fi 6E is NOT enabled by default, so if you want 6E you have to sign into the gateway's admin site to enable 6E. Is this still true? I can't find any mention of this when I search my Verizon online account web pages. My second question is about the available Wi-Fi extenders from Verizon. They do not mention Wi-Fi 6E so I'm assuming they will connect to the gateway using 5GHz or 6GHz but will NOT send out Wi-Fi 6E signal even if the gateway has 6E signal. Is that correct?

Good question sweetwilly. I want to provide some information on this question. Wi-Fi 6E should be set up by default on the gateway. The extenders will extend the signal at 2.5 or 5Ghz depending on how it is set up. These extenders do not have Wi-Fi 6E compatibility. 6E is so new that most devices not purchased in the last two years will not be able to connect using that standard. ~Peter
