I have set up the wifi extender properly (wired ethernet to the router) but when I move it to another room, I get the solid white light but I can't find the extender on my wifi network. Was previously connected so I know it works. Any thoughts? We have this extender: https://www.verizon.com/support/residential/internet/equipment/network-extender/wi-fi-extender/ and are on 5G.

I’m pretty sure your extender is connected to your main router’s network. So you wouldn’t find the extender on your wifi network. You simply connect to your main router as if you did not have the extender.
The extender only allows you to have a stronger signal through your main wifi network.
