Hi folks,
I now have Verizon DSL - the fastest Verizon internet Verizon can provide for my location is 2.8 mbps down and 0.5 up - and this is no longer workable for my internet needs. I am 1200 feet from the street with only underground phone and electrical lines Fios is not available, so my best option for higher speed internet with acceptable latency appears to be Starlink. But I dare not give up my DSL in case of bad weather Starlink problems.
My question is how to set up BOTH Starlink AND Verizon DSL so I can use the DSL as a back up. I have seen complex systems that automatically switch back and forth as needed - but they appear costly and hard to set up. Is there a simple way to simply install a manual switch so I can go from one to the other as needed? And keep the same wifi name and password etc ? I looked at doing this using Speedify but using the VPN approach will cause problems when streaming TV services. Any suggestions, simple or complex would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

This is a simple default route priority adjustment. You need a third router that supports this. The easiest and the cheapest way is to build a router from a Raspberry Pi.
