i currently have spectrum internet service and was told by a verizon rep about the 'verizon forward program'....$0/mo for 6 months then $20/mo thereafter (yes i meet the qualifications). a couple of questions...1) do i need to disconnect my spectrum service first? the rep said set up would take 10 minutes on the phone....with no internet how would this happen? can i  still use the modem and router i have from spectrum? ...2) is the $20/mo a permanent price or will it go up after a certain period...will the offer end at some point?....3) i connect my tv through wifi....will i still be able to do this with no problems?.....thank you

We appreciate your interest in our Home Internet service and are happy to provide you with the information you need, skyriana! scott31339 has provided some great information already. However, to answer your questions in regard to billing, we do currently have a limited-time offer under which new customers can get Verizon Home Internet for as low as $0/mo for 6 months. This offer is exclusively for eligible new customers who enroll in Verizon Forward.

The total monthly cost of Home Internet will depend on the service plan you choose. The Verizon Forward discount is a variable discount, and will be based on the plan on your account. Eligible customers can get up to a $20.00 discount on their monthly home internet bill when stacked with Auto Pay, or $30.00 without Auto Pay. You can view our FAQs here (towards the bottom of the page): https://www.verizon.com/discounts/verizon-forward/ You can also start the application process by clicking "Get Started" on that same page. Please let us know if this helps!

1. No, you can have two ISP's at the same time - personally I do for backup reasons. Verizon is the backup ISP now.

2. Verizon 5G home internet is wireless and requires its own equipment, Spectrum usually runs thru coax cable with a cable modem.

3. I cannot help with price/money - only tech

4. Yes, you will have to either change the Verizon router to your already set up SSID/wifi password, or reconnect your tv to the Verizon router.
