wired slower than wireless?

I have a CR200A gateway and noticed that my ethernet connection is slower than my Wi-Fi connection when connecting to the same device.
I get about 300+ Mbs via WiFi, but only 206 Mbs via cable. I know that isn't a lot of a difference, but I expected a higher throughput on an ethernet cable.
Can this be corrected?

200Mbps is definitely too slow for a typical gigabit Ethernet connection.
- Is the device connecting directly to the CR200A gateway, or are you in IP Passthrough mode and it's connecting to another router first?
- Do you have any other Ethernet devices that you can test with to isolate if it's just one device you're connecting and not a systemic issue?
- Have you tried using a different Ethernet cable?
- How long is the cable you're using?
- Have you tried both Ethernet ports on the CR200A gateway?
