I purchased two phones and 5G access plans from Verizon a year ago from the Verizon store in my zip code. For a few months now my phone connectivity is LTE not 5G but the coverage map on the web site shows 5G coverage so here is my question- Is it fair for Verizon to charge me a 5G coverage plan price when I actually do not receive 5G connectivity? Should I go back and have them change my plan back to LTE?

I and others feel your pain because this seems to be happening a lot lately in different areas. Verizon's 5G isn't a myth, it's just getting harder to obtain because in my experience you now have to be in just the right location and the network not be too congested. Fingers crossed that the network gets some upgrades and/or they add 5G access to more areas. Verizon has some serious catching up to do in that department already with the other guys having much larger 5G maps.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.

Jp406 We definitely want to take a look at your situation. 5G devices will switch from LTE to 5G depending on the strength of the connection. Are you having issues with data while connected to LTE? ~Peter
