Even with a newly purchased booster, why is cellular coverage so poor in Southern Maine?

LTE network system in Southern Maine, why is coverage so poor in 2023?  Shouldn't coverage get better over time, not worse?  I had better cell operations a decade ago.

What make/model of 'newly purchased booster' do you have?
