3-1-2023. This is a bad day to activate a new phone. Something is broken in the network that prevents activation. The new phone process deactivated my old, working phone but failed to activate my new phone. Verizon says they are working on the network issue. Why wouldn't they have their help staff recommend that customers wait to activate until the problem is fixed? This is a whole day that I have not been able to receive calls or texts. There is no estimate as to when this will get fixed.
