Verizon account

I'm going to be working in the US for the next year and a half I'm from Canada I would like to get a Verizon account while I'm here and I'd like to know what I need to do to do that and if I do get an account and I go up to Canada to visit my family on a vacation or a holiday with my phone still work

Yes, your phone on a Verizon account will/should work in Canada. I live in northern Vermont and my phone roams on Canadian towers being passed to the Verizon network. My plan also includes Canada calling, text and data. I have no issues when travelling to/thru Canada.

(I also have a 'dirty' Jeep Wrangler)
