Can't activate paramount/netflix +play promo

I can't get past "activating" Paramount+ for the Netflix/Paramount promo. I've successfully created an account and logged into Paramount+, but under manage play+ in verizon, it still won't show Paramount as activated, and Netflix still says "pending Paramount+ activation."

Anyone else having this issue?

We signed up on 3/14, and on 3/22 we got an email that things had been activated.

Went online and linked our Netflix account and all seems good now.

I think they must be manually working on each person's account one by one.

Yeah, I have been trying to sign up for the paramount/netflix +play promo all day. The link sends me to a flickering/hanging page. Problem with traffic on Verizon website?

I did the starz/ netflix I can get on starz but nothing for netflix. This is what i get You need to finish activation before using some of your services.

I've had the same problem since trying to sign up on the 12th. On Paramount it actually shows that Verizon manages billing, but Verizon still sees both Paramount and Netflix as not activated. There's a toggle that says "Off" and clicking it doesn't move to "On" or change anything. I wasted an hour with customer service trying to get it sorted out - they walked me through the same directions available online that I'd already tried.

Has anyone figured out how this works?

Ok so using a different browser I was able to subscribe. Now like everyone else I was able to link Paramount+ but not Netflix. I get the same toggle that says activation pending, click that and then I get "We are processing your subscription. Please refresh or check back again to activate."

After a LOOOONG time on live chat I was told: The team is working on fixing it and you will be able to activate the subscription through the toggle switch after 72 hours. We are also reporting the issue to the concerned Verizon team through an AYS ticket.

Talking to someone via the chat didn't do anything. I've spoken to three different chat reps over the last 48 hours and I still cannot activate Paramount/Netflix on the verizon side.

I am able to use Paramount Plus on the Paramount website/apps and they show that I'm using it via Verizon. So it's NOT them.

However, I want to use my current Netflix account, which the Verizon site says I should be able to do. I've been billed for another month of service - something I was hoping to avoid by signing up for this service.

Once again - like others here, I've done everything I was told to do, was walked through all the steps that the various reps showed me.

This is clearly a problem on the Verizon end as none of us are seemingly able to toggle the "Off" to "On."

Having the same issue, and I have sent a PM to customer support, but the replies are really laughable. They are not even reading the issue, and are suggesting completely irrelevant solutions.

Phone and Chat support have also been of zero help.

Can we get a statement that this is a recognized issue, and the steps (if any) required by the customer to resolve this?

I have messaged, and the replies from support are frankly laughable.

One rep suggested I contact Paramount.

And if you reply to CS reply, they never reply back.

So far Verizon support is coming up very short.

Has anyone who got a reply from Customer Service to contact them directly about the Netflix/Paramount activation problem actually contacted them and gotten this resolved? It's been 10 days for me, several phone calls of too long a duration and I'm nowhere with this.

Same issue here. The toggle does not work. Tried on several browsers and other devices. Verizon chats are utterly useless. Its like they don't even reed the messages before replying. Been getting replies like "have you turned it off and back on again".

Same problem, and was actually told on fb messenger due to known problem they were discontinuing promo, but I see that was not true, as still appears if not logged in. I have paramount plus activated, like others, but toggle does not work for Netflix activation. When will this be fixed?

I'm having the exact same issue as everyone else and keep getting the exact same frustratingly generic responses from verizon reps, as you can see in this chat thread. I had a multi hours long chat conversation as well as a phone call with a rep that ended in no help whatsoever. I really hope this issue is fixed soon. It's crazy that this many people are having problems and Verizon seems to be doing nothing about it.

I had this same problem. I contacted a chat rep and they were not able to fix the problem, however they did open a support case and gave me a ticket number. After waiting a few days (they said it could be 7-10 days) my Paramount Plus subscription was set to active and then I was able to toggle Netflix to active and setup my account.

I also noticed my payment had not actually processed until 2023-03-22 (there was no charge on my card until then) so that may have been holding it up as well. I signed up on 2023-03-17.

It's now been 2 weeks has anyone been able to get the slider to move so we can activate the paramount + and netflix? Countless hours with support agents who just submit tickets and nothing ever seems to come of them.

Nicole - are you or any of the other reps reading our comments here? The replies we're all getting are completely generic and non-helpful.

There have been a dozen or more CS reps that reply almost every day with very un-helpful comments.

I am guessing they get less scrutiny from their managers or higher-ups, if a hot issue is being "addressed" every single day.

It is really sad, because to answer your question, no they are not reading the problem nor do they understand the problem.

I signed up on 3/15, and I'm still waiting for the "activate" toggle to work...

Hi. My problem seems the same as the others; my account says "pending activation" and when I try to activate Netflix, I click the toggle to change it to "on", but nothing happens. I've tried both on my phone and on the PC.

I've successfully activated the paramount subscription, and I already have Netflix, so I will be using my existing account.

Messenger rep suggested to use a different email for paramount - create a new account. I tried that and got it activated right away.

Unable to get this activation working since 15th spent multiple hours with support agents

Same issue. I spent several hours in total chatting with support. This program launch is a complete failure. It's been 11 days, still no resolution. I've had to explain the same scenario at least 4x. I feel bad for the front line support folks who clearly have not been trained on the signup process nor informed of the issues.

I sent a PM two days ago to vzw_customer_support for this exact issue --per their request to send them a PM. I, like many others here, am having the same issue with activation. Calling Support is a waste of time as I get the same answer always: "wait and give it more time". I signed up for the ParamountPlus / Nextflix bundle as it was going to net me $140 in my pocket. But this has taken so long, that another billing cycle for Netflix has passed. So now I'm only going to net $120 on this bundle. The idea was to save money; but so far I have not seen any savings (quite the contrary since I was already charged $100 for Paramount; and I'm still paying for my current Nexflix sub). This whole rollout has been a complete disaster. So, vzw_customer_support, did you receive my PM? If you could let me know, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

*resposting from before* I'm having the same problem. Support just tells me to wait and see. I signed up for the Paramount Plus and Nexflix bundle on March 14th and the account is not yet active.

I sent a PM to Verizon today as they have suggested to so many of you to do. I had already changed the email address for Paramount on the day I signed up, so that didn't work.

FINALLY! Got an email today that my promotion was ready (out of the blue, no mention of the ticket I had). And was able to activate Netflix easy-peasy.

so apparently i have to contact Netflix to link my paramount plus to my Verizon account?? Can someone help it make sense?

I have contacted Verizon on the chat option 4 times now. They try to have me contact paramount, Click the link a bunch of times. Nothing works. Paramount is active and shows managed by Verizon. Verizon has no idea what to do apparently.

Nothing. Nothing happens. The toggle doesn't toggle. The Activate button in my notifications does not Activate anything. Both Paramount+ and Netflix Premium subscriptions show Pending Activation and have for the past 5 days.

I spent a few hours in chat with 2 different representatives (the last being a "level 2"), and by the end of it they said they were aware that a fix was being put in over night.....well I tried again the next day, but still nothing is happening? How is this such a difficult process to fix?

I'm having the same issue. Signed up for Paramount+ with Netflix Premium on Monday. Was able to create a Paramount+ account immediately. 4 days later, still appears as activation pending on my Verizon account and still unable to link my Netflix account. I've spoken with about a dozen Verizon agents who had me take the same ineffectual steps as if it weren't a Verizon-related issue, submitted a ticket, and was promised a quick fix multiple times. Alas, still no Netflix Premium on Friday! What is it going to take to resolve this issue? I may very well just leave Verizon and switch back to T-Mobile after this ordeal.

I have been trying to activate my Paramount Plus/Netflix promotion since mid March! Still no resolution. I have chatted with agents multiple times, wasting lots of time!

For a couple weeks Paramount plus was working, and stated that it was managed through Netflix, but now I don't have access to Paramount plus at all. I have never been able to connect my Netflix account with play+.

When are they going to get this figured out?! I would like to watch some shows on Paramount plus like I was promised! I would also like my free Netflix for a year!

I tried to send a private message, and am unsure if it went through. When I tried to send it again, it says I'm not allowed to send more private messages.

Same stupid issue. I signed up March 23. It is almost 30 days. No problem with Paramount. Then Netflix eventually said activation pending. Then it just says Netflix. I have been through the endless chat monster several times. I have been told to hit the activate button over and over and of course that does nothing. I have twice been told the matter is in "escalation" but there has never been any type of response. Come on - it cannot be that hard!

Still no progress on this - the never ending wait - how many months will it take?

Like 90% of the people in this thread, my Paramount+ and Netflix is stuck. Mine has a message "Subscription: Activation pending". I've chatted with 5 different customer service reps, and they all basically told me the same thing... they created a ticket and I should check back in 3-5 days. I've done that 4 times and finally today, the most recent rep seemed more helpful. She told me that it was waiting for Verizon to CALL me to activate it! None of the previous 4 reps could figure that out?

After a few minutes, I did receive a phone call. Essentially, he told me that it is a known issue, and there's nothing more he can do. It MAY be fixed, but he didn't know if or when this would happen. No one is going to follow-up with me... so I'm stuck just checking the Verizon portal and hoping it's miraculously "active" one day. This whole process has been a horrible experience. I work in IT, and you'd think this would have been tested first. Total fail on Verizon with the process, the follow-up, the lack of accountability, and the terrible waste of time we've all gone through. I'm hoping there's some discount or compensation for it, but doubt that will happen.

I am getting so frustrated. Between this nonsense and things like the app not working - really making me think about changing to a provider that works.

I am so glad I found this thread. I have been working with them for weeks, just trying to sign up for this promo. Now I'm reading that even I succeed, I would regret it, since so many are having trouble access their Netlifx account.

At this point, I'm going to drop the whole thing. Massive fail for Verizon, especially their wasting of so much of my time when obviously from this thread it is a known issue with several fail points.

This FAQ does not help. I no longer have an active subscription for paramount plus and I still keep getting the same message saying I already have a subscription. How do you fix this.
