I am a new Verizon customer. I set up my account and purchased a new phone. While I was waiting for the phone to arrive, I set up a My Verizon account. Now that I have my phone, I am able to make & receive calls & texts. However, when I try to go into My Verizon (either app or web) to manage the account, I get the message "Your My Verizon online account was created successfully. You’ll get the full Account Owner experience after you activate your device." There is nothing else on the page except a link to my order. Online, that takes me to the order status, which is correct. In the app, it takes me to a "Something went wrong" page.
Searching all over Verizon's pages, all of the "help" with activation assumes that you have access to some sort of dashboard in My Verizon, which I don't have. I tried the chat but it was beyond frustrating as everything I tried (typing in my issue, selecting from the suggestions, etc.) just took me right back to "what is your issue".
This is not the new customer experience that I expected when I chose Verizon and now I'm wondering if I even did the right thing, honestly.
