I upgraded recently to a Google Pixel 9 Pro. My boss said that they don't allow androids on the company vpn nor the company network and suggested I get an iPhone. I bought an iPhone 14 Pro from Amazon (Unlocked but didn't know it was a T-mobile unlocked device until activating on my primary line). I went to swap back to the pixel 9 pro after adding a second line specifically for iphone and it was rejected, cannot process your request at this time or another random error is that the device is locked to another carrier which it shouldn't be. The primary line shows no plan and no associated phone number with any device which is problematic for 2fa with multiple sites and logins across many apps and services I use.
I've been on 7-8 different chats with representatives and tech team members, I was told to visit a store near me, with my ID and once I arrived at the store, I was redirected to a corporate store in another town. I don't drive anymore so traveling via Uber, Taxi, Lyft is expensive.
One rep told me that the error that they received was my account has no MDN or any other factor for authentication. This is very problematic.
What else can I possibly try?
