I just order 4 new iphone 16 pro with new lines and will by porting over 4 existing numbers.
It my understanding our new phones will arrive in the next few days.
When the porting process completes, does the existing service on the old phones stop working? Or it still requires activation of the new phone before our old phones stop working? Should I hold off the "porting process" until it gets closer to 12/25?
I want the phones be Christmas presents so we will no have access to new phones until 12/25. Since the new phone will be arrive soon, will my existing phones stop working once porting completes? Or the existing phones will continue to work until the new phones are activated?
