Disconnected Phone Number

I just want to know what i am doing/getting wrong. Our phone number got suspended in December, it is september 2025 now and I thought by then, this number would be available for reactivation. We call this number everyday, we check numberbarn; this number is clearly not reassigned to nobody. But we went into a store today, a worker searched up our number on their database or something, and he said that the number was scrubbed or just doesn't exist in their database. Does this mean there is absolutely no way of getting this number back?

how can i get in touch with somebody that actually has the authority and power to help me with this situation? i'm trying to recover an account of mine and this is the only way.

I thought NumberBarn was for landline numbers only. Don't know what happened to your old number; maybe someone ported it into the void? If you are trying to recover the number only because you need it to get back into some other account, have you checked with some discount carrier to see if that number is available to them and get a burner phone for a month just so you can get back into the other account and change your login credentials?

AyeYoPanda With Verizon you cant choose the number since they are recycled you can get a random number. You are able to choose the prefix of the number but the last 4 are random.
