I decided to migrate my family's mobile plan from Mint to Verizon.
The process should be simple, at least that's what I was told by the sellers.
The Verizon representative configured the new plan, we got 2 new phones and my son was going to keep his phone, since he's in college and not available to do configurations.
I specifically highlighted that my son's service shouldn't be disrupted, otherwise there would be no deal. I was PROMISED that everything would be transparent, a smooth transition.
Guess what happened. Verizon sent me the two new phones today, both configured wrong. But the worse part is that one of the phones had my son's number on it.
They moved my wife's number to his phone, his phone number over my device, and my number over my wife's device.
I literally spent 7 hours today on the phone trying to get this fixed, without success. Now my son is upstate, 6 hours drive distant, without a phone on him.
Also had to bother my son during the day to do the trial and error process that Verizon was putting us through to fix their mess, you can imagine his frustration.
I expect a compensation for this, it's not something to be left only with excuses.
