New iphone the new number cant be assiciated with my MyVerizon Account because its a corporate #

I just got an iphone and new service with a new #....when i go to associate it with my MyVerizon account it says its a business number. When I was able to talk to someone they said they couldnt do anything because its a business number and i was transfered and hung up on...when I went into the verizon business center today they told me the could look anything up...cant get chat to work without logging into my verzion...very frustrating....
