No service after porting

I'm trying to port my phone and number to Verizon from Xfinity to join my sister-in-law's family plan and have had no service since I provided the transfer ID to the Verizon technician on the phone and the call dropped. My phone has been in SOS mode ever since. I used the 'Check your status' Verizon link with my phone's number and it says the process is complete. I have reset my network settings, turned the phone off for over an hour before turning it back on, and it still has not updated the carrier settings to Verizon, and doesn't function as a phone unless I connect to wifi. 

 

As it cannot make phone calls I cannot call the porting number. When I tried to call from another line I was unable to get a service representative on the phone. Please advise
