I want to port my number to either Verizon postpaid or prepaid however it rejects for unknown reasons. I never had an issue porting my number to any GSM postpaid or prepaid carrier however I do with CDMA carriers. I believe my number is blocked by my county I used to live in in the earlier 2000s as Verizon wasn't allowed there. Since I haven't lived there in a while, I'm not sure why this is occurring. I have asked Verizon customer and filed a FCC complaint with no success any everyone seems clueless. I know phone companies have access to phone details where is shows details on any possible blocks or freezes but no seems to know about it. I'm at a loss and do not want a new phone number as I don't want to update my phone number with a lot of family & companies along 2 factor authentications. Verizon can you help? If not, who or where can I go to get information to remedy this?
