Spent 2 hours at a Verizon corporate store just to simply set up a new plan and purchase 2 phone devices. The representative invited me to come back to the store to complete the data transfer from old phone to new phone free of charge (after I spent hundreds of dollars). I come back the next week and the other representatives working were adamant about charging me $30 to complete the data transfer. I reluctantly agreed, only for the representative TO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW TO TRANSFER THE DATA FROM ANDROID TO IPHONE. All she did was press buttons that did nothing and then made me speak to Verizon on the phone for 30 mins to activate the phone while she left me alone. Then when I asked for a refund because she obviously couldn’t perform the data transfer, she stated they don’t perform refunds. I was so frustrated at the constant wasting of my time. Any advice? I would like a refund.

We are sorry to read that you had this negative experience, we'll be glad to look into this. Was this at a corporate store? Can you provide us the store location to check the options for you?

Hello!
Thank you for the suggestion. I attempted to call customer service but they stated that since the service was done at a store, they are not affiliated with the service so cannot give me a refund. That if I want a refund it would have to be through the store itself. Lesson learned is to avoid performing any services at stores.
