I spent an hour on the phone with Verizon support to figure out why my account is unable to link my recently installed Fios service, in which I was redirected 3 times and no representative was able to help. This call ended in a ticket being opened, which was then closed in the same day without any visible action nor solution being communicated to me. The bare minimum would've been at least a message as to why my ticket was closed so quickly.
The only remotely positive thing about the hour I spent on the phone with Verizon is that the people I talked to were friendly. The internet connection is admittedly fantastic, but so far everything else about Verizon that I've used - their website, app, customer service, and most importantly, lack of transparency - have been less than satisfactory, and that's being generous. How am I supposed to pay my bill or manage literally anything about my service if I cannot link it to my account?
I would definitely rather not call Verizon again if I'm simply going to be redirected until someone opens a ticket and closes it in the same day. If my ticket number is needed, I can update this post.
