My wife got a brand new iPhone 16 and purchased it online for express pick-up at the local Verizon store. We go in to pick it up and the 2 kids working in there with bad attitudes messed up something so what should have been a quick in and out took 30 minutes. Thats where the fun DOES NOT BEGIN. We get home and go to activate the phone and NOTHING, nada, zilch. Just stuck on SOS. So we spend 3 hours on the phone with a very nice gentleman from Customer Care who “supposedly” is going to escalate but I doubt it was. Now 4 days later we have a useless phone the local store told us to pound pavement and refuses to help and we cannot reach support to get an answer and this activation that was supposed to magically come through starting 5 hours after our call is still not happened. I want someone from Verizon to read this, do their job and get our phone activated. The support ticket is ***** we are tired of excuses and waiting. And your store in Celina, OH needs to have their entire staff fired and replaced. They are the rudest, most disrespectful establishment I ever had the misfortune of going into.

I just traded in my 2 month old iPhone 16 for the 16 pro with more storage. I had nothing but issues getting it setup. I’m still missing iMessages. Have to delete apps to update iOS. Just commiserating. Apple should not make the 16. Sorry your store experience was so terrible. I spent 3-hrs at the store getting my setup. Somehow they deleted my wife’s eSIM accidentally?? Punchline: set up was a disaster and the phone itself is trash. Luckily I have the option to pay a nominal fee of $514 to ‘upgrade’. 😐

Hello iPhone16_is_TRASH, we know how much we rely on our phones and getting all your information restored to the phone is needed. Can you tell me more what happens when you are trying to update your iOS? -Dee
