How do I copy photos from a Motorola G6 to a Windows 10 Computer
Nauset
Newbie

I have a new Motorola G6 phone and I want to copy several folders of photos from the Motorola Photo Gallery on the phone to my Windows 10 PC. When the phone and the PC are connected by a USB Cable the PC can see or recognize the photo files. When I try to copy photos from the DCIM/Camera to my PC, Windows says "Unknown File Type." On my old Droid Maxx there were no problems with copying photos or other media from the phone to the pc or vis versa.

Did you change the USB connection to file transfer?

I am sorry to
hear that you are having trouble transferring your photos to your computer
Nauset. I know it is important to move your memories over to a PC for safe
keeping. I would love to help figure this out for you. Have you tried using a
different computer? Are you following these https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-217741/
instructions? Are you able to transfer any other file type?
