I have a Galaxy S5, VoLTE capable.When will Verizon upgrade my husbands LG G3? So far, only the S5 and LG G2 are capable.

The story is: Yet now that Verizon has officially begun to roll out their VoLTE service (called “Advanced Calling 1.0″), customers are only given two choices that are capable of using the VoLTE service: the Samsung Galaxy S5 and LG G2. It is pretty crappy of Verizon to not allow the LG flagship phone the capability.

Well, that source is just plain inaccurate. The only phones I know of that support Advanced Calling 1.0 are the iphone 6 and iphone 6 plus.

At least, that was the case when it rolled out. I hope the s5 is on that list now as well, but i cant find anything from verizon confirming that.

And LG would be more to blame, wouldn't you think? They made the phone, and apparently didn't include the functionality. Frustrating, yes, but blame the right people.

You may also want to check out this link, where they say that the LG G3 is indeed capable, and that you just would need to download the advanced calling app from the play store.

No the g2 and so both support ac 1.0. I have them just add the feature online. Even maxx is supported now. No word on g3 won't be long as vzw wants $

No need to get it a snit. It's coming. Just about every phone that came out in 2014 will get this ability and every phone coming out going forward.

For the record the G2, Galaxy S5, iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, Droid Maxx, Droid Mini and Droid Ultra are VoLTE capable now. So That's 7 not 2.
