Is anyone with an 11/2 delivery date seeing their iphone 5 showing up early?
LOL too funny! I was just about to ask the same thing! I ordered a 16g black on 10/11 and have a ship day of 11/2.
I ordered mine 10/13 but people who's ship date was 10/19 are just getting theirs. So I hope they pick up the pace & send ours out like next week!

I ordered a 16 GB black ipone 5 on 10/5 with a ship date of 10/26 i'm checking everyday for a change and nothing.

I ordered my iPhone 5 black 16gb on the 13th of October. I have a ship date of 11/2 as well. My friend who ordered about a week before me has his ship date at the 26th. He got an email from verizon saying it may come sooner. When his ships/ if it ships 2morrow a week early I'll update this post. If it ships tommorow I'll bet we get a ship date of 10/26. Do you know how verizon ships? Do they wait until the whole batch of 11/2 ordered are ready or do they start shipping then even if some 11/2 ordered arent ready yet.
I ordered my white 16GB on the 13th as well. I've yet to see anything on the forums anywhere showing people who ordered around that time are seeing any change in status yet.
There doesn't seem to be a lot of rhyme or reason as to how the shipments are being processed either. I've seen some posts by people who ordered (granted, not from VZW) who still haven't received their phones yet.
Keep us posted if anyone gets a shipping notification!!!
I don't really know how they're shipping works. I hope they don't do it
batches though. I have an old Samsung phone and it freezes like three
times a day. I have been waiting for a new phone for like a year now and
now I have to wait even longer. A little frustrating to say the least. Oh
well it is what it is I guess.
Seeing how people who ordered the same day as me 9/27 are getting charged and ship dates (I have yet to have my charged), who knows how they're deciding because it's not based on when you ordered it. As of right now I won't see my phone until next Friday which will be 4 weeks and a day of when I ordered. So the whole 2-3 week estimate is a lie.
Where can I check on my verizon for shipping details.
I originally ordered a white 16GB on the 10/10 from Apple. After thinking more about it I cancelled and ordered a white 32GB from Verizon on 10/15. Today it was shipped!!! I can't believe I only had to wait 4 days! So unless you really want the 16GB I would suggest getting the 32GB and you'll get it a lot sooner.
I ordered my iphone 5 in store on 9/27 and was given a ship date of 10/26. I have yet to receive it, I'm hoping it will come early but I'm thinking it's not going to. I didn't receive an email saying it had been shipped just an email of my receipt. Does anyone know if it comes thru USPS or UPS or FedEx? I didn't even think about asking that when I ordered the phone.
I ordered a 16GB black model on 10/7 and was given a ship-by date of 11/2. I've checked the order status daily and it hasn't been updated with a tracking number, so I'm assuming it hasn't shipped yet. I'm in no real rush. I've heard Foxconn was ordered by Apple to get their act together due to some iPhone 5's shipping with minor cosmetic defects and such. So if waiting a bit longer gets me a pristine unit, I'm fine with that. I personally wouldn't switch to the white, which is nice but not as nice as black, just to get it a week earlier. Like Axl said, "All we need is just a little patience."

Good luck cause if it shows up early for a 16 gb it will only be the day before or the day of your ship date i ordered 9/28 and my ship date is 10/26 and still nothing so dont count it
I pre ordered my iPhone 5 - 16g, on September 17th, at a Verizon kiosk at a mall. I share a family plan with my brother. He has been eligible for an upgrade for 6 months and my upgrade date is Nov. 17th. The manager told me that I can use his upgrade so I did that. Then he told me that if I just pre order it through him I can come pick it up when they receive the iPhones on sept.21st because one would be set aside for me....well no such luck. I paid for half of the phone and have an invoice for that. Unfortunately there is no tracking number whatsoever on there. Apparently none of the carriers in my town received iPhones to their stores on sept.21st. I was told that it would take a week until they receive any and he would call me. It is now October 19th and I have not received a call. I've stopped in and called and I keep getting the same story, they haven't received any but once they do he will call me. I am not getting any dates of when to expect the phone. I told the manager 3 weeks ago that I am going on vacation Oct.26th and asked if i would have an iPhone by then, he said oh no it won't take that long. 2 weeks ago I got a call and the manager asked for my Verizon password and wanted to confirm my order and he said i'm working on getting you a phone. Since then I have heard nothing.
Normally I would be able to wait it out but I really want to have the iPhone on my vacay. My current phone is the thunderbolt and the battery life on that is horrible.
Anyone have any suggestions of what I can do?
I ordered my 64gb iPhone 5 in black on Oct 15 with a projected ship data of Oct 26. They just billed my credit card for it today, Oct 19... and my order status has now changed to show a box for a tracking number to be entered. Can't Wait!
I was told by a few differant reps from differant stores and towns that no stores would get phones until all preoders have been filled and that seems to be true cause I have checked everyday since I ordered mine. That includes all Verizon retailers not just Verizon stores.
64 gb and 32gb are shipping within a week or two compared to the 16gb because the 16g is the one most people want.
My phone was just shipped yesterday and will be here on Monday when it was supposed to be Friday, these next 2 days are going to suck waiting for it but it's so worth it!

I ordered the iphone 5 on 9/27 in store and I ordered the 16gb white, I was given a ship date of 10/26 and I should be getting it on Tuesday 10/23.
I ordered a 16gb white on 9/28 with an estimated ship date of 10/26 and still nothing hopefully it shows up soon ! :smileyhappy:

Can you just ship our phones already, the wait has become a little ridiculous, which is uncalled for. Both of your organizations should have been a little more prepared for the high demand. Thank you in advance for shipping my 16g white tomorrow, 2 weeks early. I would be more than happy to pay for expedited shipping.

Has anyone with the 11/2 ship date that ordered a 16g black seen any activity yet? All I have is the same message from the day I ordered the phone on 10/12. I am so tired of waiting! I just want my phone cause the one I have now is turning into a POS more and more every day!

I ordered two iPhone 5's White 16GB and Black 16GB on Oct. 7th. I check everyday and still Nov. 2nd ship date. I've given up seeing it sooner.
I ordered a 64GB Black October 15 online from Verizon and it was indicated "will ship 10/26". I never received an email confirmation. I did manage to locate order number and it shows a FedEx tracking number, but it pulls up nothing on FedEx tracking. I hope since they have charged my account, it will ship earlier than 10/26, but from experience when I ordered my iPad 2 from Verizon, and the high demand, I know this is not necessarily the case. I ordered mine on 10/04/2012 and it still says it will ship no later than 10/26. I think it is very unlikely that i will get my iPhone 5 before the end of the month. of course this is after my great customer service experience i had with verizon. im joking here. So we will see. I may have to call today to check if anything is going on.
If you are lucky you will get it two days early thats it so be patient and wait just like all of us are lol. I ordered in september and mine will be getting here tomorrow after a month of waiting so be patient

Good news. It seems the tracking number had one too many numbers, so I dropped the first number and was able to track
my phone which will be delivered today. Not too bad from 10/15 order to 10/24 delivery. Of course, I believe the 64GB is not in such high demand as the 16GB or 32GB. Just a note, Verizon needs to desperately work on their communication as I never received any notifications of anything to my email, I had to do all the research myself. Good luck to all!

I ordered three phones on September 29 and was told October 26 for a shipdate. I ordered one black 16gb and two white 16gb. My credit card was authorized yesterday after 4:00pm and I received a shipment email today at 1:30pm. It is shipping today via Fed Ex 2 Day Service has an estimated delivery of October 26th.
Is there a certain time of day that the order check page is updated? I feel like I am checking it at least twice a hour now and still have no change on it. I ordered a black 16g on 10/12 with ship date of 11/2.
iPhone 5. I ordered it on 10/12 (I believe). I was told it would ship 11/2, but I received it 10/17.
Ordered on 10/3 with a projected ship date of 10/26. It's the end of the day on the 24th and I have heard nothing. There is no pending charge on my credit card and the status still shows processing. I find it hard to believe that its going to come on time at this point. Oh well.

Same here. Ordered the morning of 10/7 (Black 16GB) and have yet to receive a shipping notification. When I check the stats via the VZW website the spot where the tracking number should be is blank. I doubt we see our phones early at this point.
