I've been looking around. Anyone have any suggestions
I've gone between the CaseCrown Glider and the Case-Mate Pop. Both are very very nice cases. I can't decide which one I like better!
If you're looking for something sturdy and dont mind the extra weight the best cas you can get is an otterbox.
I went with the Body Glove case. It's not anything flashy, but my experience with using their products on my last 4 phones has been great. I tend to be pretty careful with my phones though...yes, I drop them, but nothing catastophic has happened to date (knock on wood). No cosmetic damage. Time will only tell if that is true for the iPhone but I think it will fit my needs (Plus they fixed the "death grip" issue by creating a slot area to help pry it open to take off lol)
Speck Fitted
I chose the Case-Mate Pop!
It fits snug, silicone support on the inside, grip on the side and smooth on the back. Could not ask for a better case.
Speck Fitted is the best case, but the side buttons didn't align right.

I am using the Otterbox Defender case. I have the case made for the ATT iphone, but it is working pretty well. If the mute switch was any farther down it wouldn't work, but it does work (tight fit, but works well).

I'm using the SmallWorks LEGO BrickCase. $20 on Amazon and my kid loves it. I saw it a while back on Daring Fireball and Gizmodo and decided it was too cool to pass up! I can build (decorate) with LEGO bricks and LEGO minifigs on the back and top of the iPhone 4. I wasn't sure it would fit the Verizon phone, but I picked up my phone today and it fits perfectly! As I was walking out of the Apple store today a really good looking female 'associate' stopped me to look at it. She got all excited that it was LEGO! Geek chick! Too bad they only sell it on Amazon and not in the Verizon store or Apple store. One other side-effect is that the phone is not so slippery now because of the LEGO studs, and even though I thought the studs would make the phone too thick for my back pocket, it's really not.
Is it the Att defender case?

I ordered the Incipio NGP in translucent Gray. Also got the Bodyguardz full protection kit.

I've been able to see and hold a lot of different cases and I have decided on the Incase Slider in monochrome black. As far as I can tell it has been discontinued but it is still readily available. I got mine from Wireless King for about $15 rather than the $29.95 list price and I love it. The top edge does come up over the edge of the glass a bit so full-size screen films are not compatible. Incase has some excellent matte protectors that will fit these cases but they're a bit pricey at $20 for just two.
When I want the phone to go naked I got the glossy PureProtect+ front & back films from SwitchEasy which are very nice. The only drawback is their sensitivity during application. You must ensure you're in an area that's as dust-free as possible otherwise you'll get little bubbles you can't get rid of.
I am also trying out the newest Incase case, the Prism Snap. I had considered other types of ultra-slim cases before including the Pinlo Slice and while it's very lightweight and minimal it offers the least protection to the screen and against bumps and drops. The Prism may not be as thin as the Slice but it is much more rigid and offers more shock and screen protection. Overall though, the Slider offers me a better combination of light weight, minimal bulk and protection.
I like switcheasy cases lol
