Can I activate an iPhone from Sprint on Verizon?

I recently lost my iphone 4, and my Sister said I could have her Sprint phone. I was just wondering if I could put this phone onto my  existing  acct without any hassle from Verizon. I know the Sprint phone has to be unlocked before I can use anywhere.

Sprint phones do not use the same frequencies as Verizon so it's not compatible. Doesn't matter if the phone is unlocked or not.
