Can't receive verification/validation code SMSes.

My phone just got activated today and I can receive and send regular SMS. However, I can't seem to receive verification/validation code SMSes from Google, Glide, Whatsapp, Viber, etc. They don't seem to be blocked. Is there anything I can do to fix this or is this a thing that will take some time as I said my phone just got activated today?

This is strange jinmei! Since you are able to receive SMS, you should be able to receive those validation codes too! What messaging application are you using? You indicate that you just activated the phone, did you just upgraded your previous Verizon Wireless phone or did you port in your number from other carrier?
