Curious if anyone can recommend an app like Facetime, that doesn't hickup or stutter. It'd be kewl if it used wifi & CDMA. I've heard of Vimeo for example, has anyone had solid performance from that app?

You can try the Skype app to see if it gives you the quality you are looking for. I personally haven't had any trouble with it stuttering (nor with FaceTime the few times I used it).
I haven't had any stuttering problems with Facetime... not in the least. I suppose if you have a pretty slow WIFI connection that this would occur. Note that if you use Skype over 3G, I would expect that problems may occur as 3G is typically WAY slower than the average WIFI connection. Try running Speedtest (free app in the App Store) and see what kind of speeds you're getting.
Thanks for everyone's replies, I was thinking it was a Verizon Network issue at the time, as it was a Sunday afternoon, it was the first time I have had issues with Facetime, but had only used it on weekday mornings.When we switched to voice only, the call was strong as ever. I do have a strong Wireless N signal as well. I instlaledl the Speedtest app, and it showed a result of 20/3.6MB's with minimal latency.
Next time that happens, I'll try Skype and see if it's any better.
