Has anyone received a promo code to trade in old iPhone?

I pre-ordered my 6s at a Verizon store on 9/12 and received it on 9/25. I activated it on 9/28. I was told I would receive a text/email within 1-5 business days to trade in my 5s and get a $300 credit. I was also told I could bring my phone to the store and would not have to mail it.

I haven't received my promo code yet. I know I'm still within the 5-day window, but I'm just curious if anyone else has received their code. If so, how soon after activating?

I am the original poster for this thread. I activated my 6s on 9/28 and I have now received my promo code (email last night and text today).

I thought of you still waiting could use this for comparison.

Did you go thru the process and answer all the questions about your phone condition etc? I got my text a few days after ordering. I just received the return box and instructions in the mail yesterday and returned it today. I don't have the text anymore.

I'm not mailing mine in. I'm trading in my 5s at the store. The manager there said I would receive a text/email within 5 days of activating my new phone and then I could bring in my 5s and trade it in there. I called today to confirm that I could trade it in at the store and didn't have to mail it in and he said yes, that was accurate. He said it's taking the full 5 days to get the promo code due to Verizon having over 100,000 pre-orders.

I did not get mine yet either and I activated on 9/25. It's been over 5 days (weekend included). Anyone else still in this boat?

I read another thread where someone activated their phone on the same day as you and she just got her promo code last night, so I'm sure yours will be coming very soon.

I'll wait until Monday before I start to get concerned. As I said in my original post, I activated my phone on 9/28 and Monday will mark the fifth business day and seventh day overall. Honestly, as long as I get it before 10/21, I'm good since that's when my bill is due.

We did not do an online submission. We were told that once we activated our new phones we would be texted or emailed a promo code so that we can turn our old phones in to the store for credit. We activated the phones on 9/25 and still have not received the promo codes. Can you advise us on what is being done?

I activated my new iPhone 6s on September 26th and have still not received my promo code. I have called Verizon twice already. The first time was October 2nd and the second time was October 8th. The first time they told me they were a little late getting them out (understandable to some extent) but went on to tell me I should have it in a few days. I know a few days means different things to different people. Six days later and still nothing. When I called the second time, they seemed a little puzzled that I hadn't received it yet. They did a little checking while I was on the phone and was told they would escalate the issue and give me a call back. They did call me back but only to tell me they were not successful in getting the promo code. I know it's only a been a day since that last call but still nothing. I'm used to this kind of support from DirecTV but not from Verizon. Maybe they think if they drag their feet long enough getting me the code, they'll be able to tell me when I take my old phone in that the offer has expired. At this point in time, I can't imagine what the hold up is.

If you are referring to my email inbox, yes I have checked it and I have not received anything from Amber. I have verified that the email address listed on my Verizon account is correct.

I am in the exact same deal. I ordered my iPhone 6s Plus and was promised $300 for my excellent shape 5s. I have yet to receive a promotion code. And was told I could also go trade it in at the store.

I haven't received my promo code either. They said it would take 24 hours. Its been 72 hrs.

I received my Promo Code for the trade in of my old phone on October 12th despite my new 6s being activated on September 26th. It just took a little longer than expected. A little frustrating but really no big deal as long as I am successful in redeeming it. Good luck to those still waiting.

I have 2 iPhone 6s activated on 10/1 and 10/2 and also still have not received the promotion code yet. I called the trade-in center and they asked me to wait for about 2 weeks first. I am just wondering if this promotion has an expiration date? I do not want to keep waiting and miss the expiration date.

I also bought an iPhone 6s Plus and activated it on 10/23/2015 early in the morning still have not received the promo code so I can send in my iPhone 5s for $300 credit. I have called Verizon over 5 times and told a different answer each time. I've been with Verizon since 1995. I've never had any problems until now. Please help as I need to have the $300 credit on my Verizon account asap since I'm on disability. Thank you. It's been over 7 or 8 days now.

I posted my question here one month ago and I still have not received any promotion code and no one has replied to my problem on tis forum neither!! Really unhappy with the service from Verizon. I activated 2 new iPhone on 10/1 and 10/2 -- called the trade-in center few times, two ladies have promised to re-submit the request but still no code. Can anyone please give give me the dam promotion codes right now??

Hello, Saw your response and wanted to ask this question... will I still receive a trade in code even if I didn't fill out the trade in questions when pre-ordering my new iPhone 7plus? I honestly don't remember if I answered the questions at that time? Also, when I was logged into my Verizon account and looked up "how to trade in your old phone", it says existing customers will get an account credit. Does this mean we won't get the Visa Gift Card option? azcoyotedog
