Thanks for clarifying rlbryce36, You do have the ability to view the number that was texted and the time within 30 days of the time the text took place online by viewing your usage details. This would be the most we can offer to view a text message that was deleted from a device. In addition, you can back up messages with the verizon cloud and our verizon messages app can hold messages longer for you, take a look http://vz.to/1kyP5JA If you were to need the details of a text message that were deleted, you would need to reach out to our legal department for assistance, as well as getting a lawyer involved.
