Iphone 5s has worse reception that my wife's iphone 6 but neither are very good. What options are available to improve the reception? We already have a Wilson booster set up in our office.
I've had this same problem. They will tell you it could be other electronics in your house interfering with your signal. Does your signal improve when you step outside of your house? One thing you could do is call customer service or go to your local store and see if you can get a signal booster to plug into your house.
Signal does get some better but still is not as good as I feel it should be. I've had signal issues ever since I upgraded to the 5s. I have spoken with customer service briefly about the booster but I'm not interested in paying that price for a service I feel I already pay for.
The zip code is 76087. Resetting the network settings does not make a difference when at my house. I have tried that multiple times. In fact, I had to call you guys right after I upgraded to the iPhone 5 because of the poor reception everywhere and was walked through how to do the reset.
I am having the same issue with reception. I live in zip 76017, and the coverage map shows that I am in a good area. I have tried being outside, inside, and down the street. I still have times when 1x shows on my phone. Pretty sad when I live in a major metropolitan area. It is not just in my house either, as I have tried being outside far away from my house. Not good Verizon!
We want all of our customers to have the best service possible. Does the service improve when you leave this area completely? Besides the 1x, do you have any issues with making or receiving calls?

Hello! At times I drop calls all around my house. I also have difficulty
making and receiving calls. I have others who have Verizon visit and they
too have issues. Service improves driving out of the neighborhood.

you should call in to tech support, and go through troubleshooting. If the problem appears to be network related have the rep issue a network ticket to get your area surveyed and get things checked. number for tech is 8668927957
