I think it would be helpful to have a Thread where everyone can report which 6 they ordered and what date they received to help others that are waiting

I am going to start this thread in hopes that people can report when and what type of phone they ordered then come back and reply to their original post when they heard it was being sent. This could be helpful to everyone that is anxiously waiting like myself. So here goes. I ordered Oct 3rd, 6+ 64GB Silver the order stated ship date Oct 31 I am in the SW part of the US ( I m understanding that is making a difference as well)

I will report back to this thread when I have been charged or got notification.

I am also hoping for earlier rather than later :smileyhappy:

I just put in an order for a gold iphone 6+ 64GB just to see if it'll come before my previous order of the 128GB. So far the expected delivery date for the 64GB is 11/24. We'll see!

Verizon Wireless Customer Support should be sick that they are delivering information to customers that are complete lies. I cannot imagine working for an organization that I sell my integrity to protect...must pay well. I ordered 128g 6+ SG on 10/18. My date has once again been pushed out, and now it is 12/12. I have called multiple times and was assured that the product would ship on 11/21. Please don't reply with a Verizon reply...you have already offended me enough.

Maybe it would not be so bad if only Verizon was more transparent and honest about the shipping and supplies. Stop telling people they will receive something that you cannot delivery. The email that Verizon send gives you a link that only tells you that you ordered the phone and the order is being processed...crappy service all around.

OH! I am glad that my years of loyalty is worth $10. How about I send you $10 and you tell me the truth the next time I call?

I ordered the 6 on the 3rd of Nov with a ship date of 11/21. My status changed this morning from "Expected Ship Date of 11/21" to "Your order is currently being processed. You will receive a shipping confirmation email when your order ships, which will include the shipping details"

verizon just told me that all 11/21 shipments are delayed to the 22nd, but because thats a weekend day, they won't actually ship until monday...

I ordered my 6 plus on 10/31..128gb in gold..was given a ship date of 11/21. Today my status changed to this message: Your order is processing. Your shipping details will be available soon. So I called customer service and the lady told me it is pending payment and will ship out today...so I hope she wasn't just blowing smoke up my a!@#^I(((!

Yeah I wouldn't count on it... I ordered the exact same phone as you on 10/21. Received expected ship date of 11/7. That date got changed to 11/21. Then yesterday I got another email changing the delivery date once again to 12/12. Oh and my order status says: Your order is processing. Your shipping details will be available soon. It's been saying that for awhile now.

The delay because of demand isn't the problem. What is the issue is the lack of honest communication from Verizon. And the $10.. yeah what is that other than a slap in the face?? It just shows that they aren't listening to their customers and don't really care about their customers. I would rather they just keep that $10 and just tell us straight up what the issue is. I would much rather hear from them: "Apple dictates the shipping of the products and quite frankly at this point we Verizon are extremely upset with the service Apple isn't providing for our customers. We can not honestly with good faith let you know when an expected shipment date is. However what we can do for our valued customers is provide any customers that have been waiting for greater than 4 weeks a 20% discount on there bill for the next 6 months. We at Verizon value your support and once again we apologize for this extreme inconvenience."

Will that happen?? Doubtful but wouldn't it be nice to have some honest feedback, even if it is horrible news.

JJR12 I am in the same boat, but I ordered mine on 10/18 with an original shipping date of 10/31. I sent a long email similar to your comments and received a call this morning from the executive office. I was away from my phone and got his voice-mail when I called back. I will try later and let you know what they say. When you send the email it says they will contact within 24 hours.

I went to here Region Leadership | Verizon Wireless and looked up the regional president. Then I went to Google with his name (john doe email) and got this link back Message .

While I don't yet have a tracking number, I did just chat with a customer service representative who told me my iPhone 6 64 GB SG was "on its way to arrive by Tuesday". Unfortunately, I leave for Thanksgiving on Monday evening. Maybe if I offer the local FedEx distribution center a shiny 100 dollar bill they'll let me pick it up on my way out of town on Monday evening?

i was told today that my order was set to go out today, and on fridays the warehouse normally sends the orders out, and then goes back into the system and updates everything for orders being shipped. so stay hopeful. the tracking email may be on its way! I'm hoping its true

While it's only a delay of one day, I will certainly have to either wait until after I get back from Thanksgiving, or I will have to try to switch my deliver-to address with FedEx. :-( But, at least my phone is almost on its way.

The 64GB that I ordered yesterday in place of my 128GB shipped this morning!!! If you don't want yo wait any longer I'd definitely cancel and order the 64! It would have been 2 months for the 128GB. Less than 24 houra for the 64! Goodluck to you guys!!! I really do hope Verizon gets in a larger shipment.

Got an email saying that my order is gonna be shipped tomorrow. But im kind of skeptical cause they said i only have 1 quantity of a 64GB Space Grey 6, when i ordered two. + the gold and silver ones i ordered. I hope all goes as planned and i get my phones by Monday :smileyhappy:

Sounds like some people are getting their phone "earlier" now. Also, Apple stores in the Eastern U.S. are showing stock on the 6 Plus, 128GB in Space Gray.

Yes...this worked for me too. I ordered the gold 6+ 164gb on 10/31 and was given a ship date of 11/21.then on 11/20 got the dreaded email that it would be delayed even longer to 12/12. So this morning I cancelled the order and replaced the order for the 6+ gold 64gb and it already shipped out today, I got the email with tracking, I'll have it on Monday!!! Thanks for the tip!:smileyhappy:

I still didn't receive my iPhone 6+ 128GB I ordered back on 10/22. My shipped date still say's 11/14/2014. Didn't even receive an email of the shipment being delayed. I had to find this out by calling customer service. I'm also surprised the Verizon admin removed my original message on this thread.

I really hope they aren't doing that. We should be on the same priority level as the people who paid in full for there phones. It should be first come first serve and if it isn't I'm going to literally lose my freaken mind and get crazy on someone.

I ordered my iPhone 6 plus on 9/22...they screwed up the order in the store, so after nearly 5 weeks my order was cancelled...I then spent 2 hours in the store re-starting the process. The new ship date was pushed back to 11/14...Well, it is 10 days past that date and Verizon is yet to reach out to let me know they obviously did not ship when they said. I understand the device is back ordered and Apple is the true culprit, but a simple email or text to update me would be nice...my new strategy is to check Sprint and ATT every day and as soon as someone has the phone I will happily bail on Verizon. MyVerizon still shows my order is "being processed" and has an expected ship date of TEN days ago. What a joke.

I'm sorry but telling us that "Verizon" appreciates our patience is falling on deaf ears now. We understand that there are back orders that is out of Verizon's control. However what we can't understand is the lack of communication from Verizon. Yes, we know Verizon sends out an email on the day that our phone is suppose to ship to let us know that the delivery date has been pushed back yet again. Doesn't really tell us anything other than, "We don't care that you have waited over 2 months for your phone." Then you send us an email saying sorry but here's $10. Wow, what an insult....

Honestly at this point due to the holiday season I don't see any of us getting our phones till after the new year. Why?? Because the business model says that any orders after Thanksgiving would need to be filled before Christmas. So that means any orders prior would have to go back on "backorder" in order to satisfy the holiday season customers.

So honestly, can you answer my question?? I ordered my phone on 10/21. When can I expect to honestly see our phones?? And don't tell me 12/12 because I already got that email, along with the one saying 11/7 and 11/21.

I put my order in for 128G space grey back on 10/26 and was given 11/14 ship date. Date has come and gone and still waiting for my phone and/or update on new shipping date. The only notification I received was pretty much in a nutshell "a sorry we can't fill your order right now but we're working hard on it". Extremely irritated as I took the time to actually go into a VW store to buy/place an order for it and was told by an employee that the phone would arrive faster if I was to order it myself online. Live in the SW.

No one is questioning VZW's process once it gets turned over to FedEx. The frustration is mainly with VZW's lack of communication throughout the long waiting period. Everyone understands that Apple not producing enough phones is the root of the problem. That is understood. What we are pleading for is a better way of managing the expectations of VZW's paying customers

As of today (11/25) my order status still shows an expected ship date of 11/14. That is not acceptable communication. I have not received a single email or text or phone call from the very entity that provides those services to me to communicate that there has been another delay.

I have literally brought 5 people over to Verizon in the last two years. I have always felt Verizon is the best managed wireless company and provides the best coverage. However, other providers have significantly closed the gap in relation to coverage and in my area the playing field is very even. When that happens customer service becomes paramount in order to retain business. I am out of contract and regretting that I stuck with Verizon on this order. If I don't receive an accurate update by the end of the week, I will in fact cancel the order and pre-order with a different carrier simply out of principle.

I've been an Apple user for years. Once they opened an Apple store that I could drive to, that was the end of buying computers from anyone else. If I ever buy another iPhone around launch, I'll probably go directly to Apple, since I could have picked up my phone on three separate occasions by now.

I believe the problems that we are seeing here go beyond normal supply chain problems. I think this is a deliberate attempt by Apple to get more people to buy phones directly from Apple. This is why:

After being strung along for months and months I think I have the answer. I plan to cancel my order for the backordered 128gb 6+ phone on or about 12/11 just shortly before it is supposed to ship. Not worth the hassle and their treatment of folks is just plain terrible customer service. Maybe it will help someone else get their phone. Additionally, someone should file a class action lawsuit. This is utterly ridiculous!

I really hate to cancel, but at this rate, I'm done with Apple not being able to fulfill orders for a phone for over a month. It's preposterous any way you look at it, especially based on the valuation of the company alone.

I was going to make this my move to iPhone from Android, but this month+ wait has provisioned for comparable offerings in the Android market that I'm considering (though I'm not exactly thrilled, but that feeling won't last long).

I'm very, very disappointed in Apple (it's painfully clear that Jobs is no longer at the helm), as well as Verizon for not being more communicative about this fiasco. The fact that they're still taking orders and giving shipping estimates of 2 weeks is both dishonest and neglectful of current customers with long-unfulfilled orders.

For the original poster's inquiry, I ordered a gray 128 GB 6 Plus. I'm in the southeast and I placed my order ~October 20th. I can't believe I still don't have a phone yet, lol. Amazing.

StephenChapman: The frustrating process where you order and then stand in the dark for months is because of Verizon. It benefits Apple in no way to slow the process of selling their phones. Verizon on the other hand will GLADLY attempt to talk you in to another phone if you get sick of waiting. Verizon makes A LOT more from the manufacturers of Android phones than iPhones. Verizon only started selling iPhones because of consumer demand.

I think it is a good call to cancel your order with Verizon and just start dropping by your local Apple Store (if you have one). I also switched from Android. I loved my HTC One, but I'm telling you the 6+ is the best and smoothest phone I've ever used. That is saying something coming from two HTC Ones.

After 2 months and 6 days and no communication from Verizon as to why my shipping status showed 12 days in the past (after they inexplicably cancelled my order 5 weeks into the porcess and re-started it), I took a gamble and cancelled with them and walked into an Apple Store. I had my pick of any size/color I wanted with my new 6+. They had everything in stock even though before I went there I checked there store inventory via apple.com and nothing showed in stock. Apple sets an expectation that it may take longer than it really will with their updates. Verizon does the opposite and sets an expectation that goes unmet just so they can get your sale. Best of luck. You will love the 6+

Doing all you can to expedite?? Really?? Could you explain what Verizon has been doing to expedite this process?? Because as customers we aren't seeing Verizon do much of anything about it. All we are asking for is some open communication instead of feeding us all a line that you can't back up.

A few questions that would be great to have an answer to.

1. Will we see our 6+ phones before Christmas?

2. Will we see them before Valentine's day?

3. Will Verizon actually communicate upfront with the customers with actual information?

We can understand that Verizon is limited with what they can do concerning the arrival of the product from Apple. However what we can't understand is the lack of communication from Verizon. All we really are asking for is a little communication. Not much but enough to make us believe they care.

I agree. I just want to know what Apple is telling verizon. I only have a month left of maternity leave and then I won't be available to sign for my phone if delivered after Christmas. I ordered in time for it to be here well before my leave is over.

Ordered iPhone 6 plus 128 Gold on Oct 25, ship date set for 11/14 ... a date that came and went with no delivery. It's Dec 2nd - and I just noticed my card was charged for the phone Monday around 8PM. No change in online status via Verzion order-check page.

I had called a couple of weeks ago and was told - it might be Dec 12 before it ships. If it doesn't make it here before then - I will cancel and just go for a mini. This has been one frustrating ride.

My order date changed from 10/22 to now 12/1. When I check my order status it now says it is processing instead of expected ship date 11/14. I will be extremely upset if I was pushed down in the order queue. I will be calling the Executive Customer Relations in the morning if I dont see any change.

I have so much respect for you having so much patience. I probably would have given up a long time ago. I've been waiting only two weeks and I am tempted to give up and just order from Apple themselves (even though they give me an estimated time of 3-4 weeks as well). My "expected ship date" is 12/12 and the reps keep telling me "it could arrive before 12/12, on 12/12, or even after 12/12" -_- so basically all up in the air at this point.

I ordered my phones on 10/21. Ordered a 128gb Grey 6 and a 128gb Gold 6+. I got the expected ship dates of 11/7, 11/21 and 12/12. Checking my order status is a waste of time. Sometimes there is something there for Order History but most of the time there is nothing there at all. Like now, there is nothing in my order history.

At this point do I really expect a phone sometime in 2014?? Probably not. Do I expect any type of valuable communication from Verizon in 2014. Not really either, unless you count "your expected ship date is sometime in 2015" email to be valuable communication. I don't, I have received a few of those and still don't have good communication to why the orders have been pushed back.

Though something I did find out that is upsetting. My "new" contract for the phone doesn't start until they ship you the phone. So I have been paying for the new Plan for 2 months now but my contract doesn't start till the phone ships. Apparently the Plan and the Contract you agree to are for two different things. Doesn't make sense to pay on a contract that doesn't start till later. I had to change my plan I was happy with just to get this phone and then I end up getting disappointed.

Hopefully we get our phones but Verizon's reliability to follow through with expectations just isn't there.

That's strange. I myself had to change my plan as well (coming from unlimited data and i'm still upset about that) but my new plan doesn't start until I activate the phone when it comes (eventually). My contract has been extended however, but i'm still on my same plan i was before i upgraded.

Oh hell, I was just going to say that mine was always showing an order but I just checked now and nothing... I've been talking to apple to see if I could just order through them but they're being just as sketchy about a time frame.
