IPhone 5 Shipping

So I am sure there are a million of these topics but.....

I ordered my Iphone on the 2nd of October. It says it will ship on the 26th but it has been charged the account just recently. I checked my email and there was no confirmation that it shipped nor does the tracker say it shipped. Does that mean it still hasn't shipped or is Verizon a bit slow on updating their information?

I ordered two on Oct 8 (contract anniversary date) and got a shipping notice Oct 14 for delivery Oct 17.

I also did not receive a conformation or tracking number. however when i called the automated line from verizon i received the tracking number only to find out that my phone has been shipped 3 days early and should arrive tues the 16 as apposed to the 19th

Can I ask what size/color phone you all ordered? I also have a ship by date of Oct 26 but crossing my fingers it comes sooner! Thanks :smileyhappy:

Yankeefan did you order online? I ordered a 16gb back on 9/27 and have yet to see anything. I'd be pretty upset knowing people who ordered after me are already getting theirs and not me. :smileysad:

I ordered on September 26th, iPhone 5 16 GB black, just got a pending charge on my card for the phone today 10/15, had an expected ship date of 10/19. No info yet on carrier info for shipping but my order status has updated with a section for tracking info. Assuming once the charge is final and no longer pending it will ship, probably tomorrow 10/16. Verizon usually ships 2-day so I should get it by 10/18, Thursday. Yours will probably be a day later.

i ordered a 32 black on 10/10, got a pending charge in my account yesterday morning, and an email this morning saying my phone will be shipped and should arrive on Wed. Ordered on Wed and should arrive the next Wed. That's not bad but I think the 16 is in higher demand.

So I saw online that the ship by date for iphone 5 16gb was 10/26, so i went into my local verizon store and they were completely sold out. So I decided to order mine online and then the ship by date was 11/2. I was upset but at least I will be receiving an iphone 5 sooner than later . I end up ordering mine 10/8. Has anyone with same ship by date have got any type of response or info on there order?

I was thinking I was never going to get a ship date. Took for ever to process my card. Finally did now I'm waiting for a ship date. Or tracking

I ordered my 16gb (Black) on 9/27 with an estimated shipping date of 10/26. I just received notifcication today (10/18) that my phone has shipped. I received my notification and immediately checked my account, Verizon had already charged my account by the time I got there to check it out. So it was basically simultaneous for me between when I was notified and when they charged the account. Pumped for the new phone, but according to FedEx I won't get it until Monday 10/22.

Lucky, I ordered 16gb white on 9/27 and have seen nothing change. So frustrating.

ummm I've got some serious bad news for you guys and anyone else who ordered anytime after september, i called vzw a few times now asking the status of my phone she said i will def be getting mine oct 26 because i ordered sept 28 << post content removed for language in order to comply with >>

ya im also receiving my black 16gb iPhone 5 monday oct 22nd cuz i ordered sept 28th. can't wait i could of had the white one on release day but i really didn't want the white one so i ordered the black one and had to wait all this time till monday when i get it via fed ex. the black is just so much sleeker and better looking in my opinion plus i think it makes it look larger than the white one too. idk about you guys but i had to order my black one on release day cuz they only got 2 black 16gb that day and they were already gone I'm so happy now though that i waited for the black one. i think the people that got the white one over the black on release day only say white is better looking are just jealous they couldn't get the black one cuz there store didn't have ne left either and they didn't want to wait.

I ordered september 28th and my debit card was just charged so it should ship in the morning. whoever told u about the 6 months is a lie... I talked to my verizon store today !

Looks like you all are lucky. I ordered my iPhone 5 on 9/27 and was given an original ship date of 10/26. I confirmed this date a week ago and was told it was shipping on 10/26. I just called Verizon and now its been pushed back to 11/16. No explanation was given. Talk about pissed, esp since my phone i was using until the new one arrived just completely kicked the bucket.

to gnelson49...I received the notices on the door Mon, Tues, Wed...3rd was final attempt notice. I didn't get home until Thursday evening at 10:00 pm and started calling them. It was too late to sign the notice and leave it for FedEx.

For future reference or for those expecting shipment of your phones via FedEx in the near future. Verizon ships these phones "Indirect Signature Reference". So if you know you won't be home when the FedEx driver comes, and you are comfortable with them leaving the phone at your door, all you have to do is tape a note to the door indicating that you give them permission to leave the package, I will generally ad the tracking number so they can verify it with the package and then I sign the note. I have done this twice in the past and have come home to my new phone. I am expecting delivery today, and have done the same thing and am expecting to return home to my new iPhone 5 later today.

i just called verizon and they say that the 6 month delay is false. i ordered 16g black on 10/12 and they say it should still be here by 11/2

ordered my iphone on 9/29 does anyone know why there's others that ordered after I did has already recieved their phone or gotten an earlier shipping date than mine of 10/26 as of now my cc has not been charged

Hey OSU4569 what phone did you order? it seems that the 32g and 54g are shipping out a lot faster than the 16g is. By the way GO POKES!!!!!

What a joke... I called them about a half dozen times since my post and they assure me it was a mistake and that I would "likely" receive it before 11/16. But as far as the 10/26 date, all of those phone went to someone else. Unbelievable. I should never have ordered a phone through the website. They told me that I wasn't the only one this happened to, but they are doing nothing to help me resolve it. Oh wait.. they did offer me 30% off a phone case of my choice... a phone case to a phone that I don't have!

I ordered a 16g white on the 30th with a ship date of the 26th. My card was just charged and the order status now says "sent for processing". Hopefully that means it will ship earlier.

I ordered my white 32 GB from my local Verizon store on 10/07 and Fed Ex delivered it on 10/19. I guess I lucked out. Great phone :smileyhappy:
