Iphone 12 Pro with Grandfathered Unlimited Data Plan...

When I ordered my new iphone 12 pro, I specifically asked if my grandfathered unlimited plan would work with the new iphone 12 pro and they said yes. However when I was activating my phone the rep said I would have to switch my phone. Can someone clarify? thanks

You shouldn't have to change your plan unless you are wanting to connect to the 5G network with that phone if it supports 5G.

In terms of activating it, you should be able to activate it with the SIM card from your old phone if it fits. You don't need to involve a VZW rep or log into your MyVerizon account online to activate.
