I preordered the iPhone 13 pro on 17 September and received a confirmation email that all the items in my order (iPhone 13 pro, blue light screen protector, and phone case) were all in the order. However, when I received my package on 21 September only the screen protector and phone case were included. In the tracking number link provided to me via the Verizon shipping confirmation email it indicates that the iPhone was delivered.
Could someone help me figure out what is going on? If the phone was not actually delivered then that is fine, but I don't understand how the status could be delivered when I never received it. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Dang, I am so sorry! I only received 1 tracking number from Fedex and the second Verizon representative I spoke to said that the phone was not shipped because they did not have my unit number, even though my screen protector and case was delivered and had the same tracking number as the iPhone. The second representative said they would place an order as soon as the return confirmation was sent out, but when I got that notification I did not see an order place. I ended up talking to a third representative and they found that there was no order place after the return was completed, so they were able to put in an order for me for early November which is fine because my current phone still works and it isn't urgent. I think the supply chain issues and employee shortage are really messing up the delivery system as companies like UPS, Fedex, and even amazon are scrambling to get deliveries out in a reasonable timeframe. This is most likely going to be the case throughout the holiday season, which I think will be much worse then.

Is it possible the package was tampered with? Was the weight of the package different when you received it versus the weight when it was shipped?

The package did not seem to be tampered with in anyway that I noticed - the tape looked right, no damage ot the box itself, etc. Inside there was a piece of packing paper and a receipt that indicated that the screen protector and phone case were inside. It also noted that the 2 day shipping was $0.00. So I am pretty stumped what happened.

Hmmm. Have you verified the tracking number for the phone matched the box with the screen protector and the case or was there two different tracking numbers?

Yes, I did check all 3 tracking numbers for the items and they are all the same 1. When I click on each link it takes me to the exact same web page.

That's not good. I would definitely be reaching out to customer service and perhaps even the shipping company to sort it out.

Just spoke with a representative and said the phone would be delivered within 24-48 hours. Was some sort of glitch in the system. Took a while to talk to an agent, but they were quick and very helpful.

Hopefully you get it soon. Many of the new phones and iPad configurations are looking at three to four week delivery times due to heavy ordering.
My iPad Mini was delivered today as I ordered it 15 minutes after the ordering time opened.

Today, the 24th was the release date for the new iPhones and iPads. Apple doesn’t allow anyone to release them early. Verizon knows that too.

Did you receive two different tracking #’s? My email from Verizon was a FedEx and Ups tracking #, the Verizon app only showed one tracking #and therefore it will be marked as delivered when in fact the phone is still out there, my phone was shipped UPS, and case, screen protector Fed Ex, Verizon website and app only mentioned Fed Ex, I contacted Verizon and they fed me the same lie everything is coming FedEx, I then had to tell them I had tracking #’s for both and then it changed well if you have two tracking #’s it’s two deliveries, both that required signature arrived on the same day. Check your email for shipping info, and it’ll help to sign up for notifications from Ups and FedEx for deliveries to your address.
