My UPS tracking # is NOT working!

The status on the VZ page says shipped 10/11, and that I should receive it by the 14th. But when i click on the tracking number, I get this:

>>> UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Please verify your information and try again later.

It's been this way all day, and I got that tracking number at 6am today.

Same here...got my email first thing this AM.

When I check my order status on the Verizon site - I get what looks like an IP address. It also says its being shipped via Courier MD2 to arrive on 10/14/11.

That just means the tracking information has not been transmitted to UPS yet.

I should add, I'm not overly concerned since it appears the East Coast phones are coming primarily from West Chester, PA (10 Miles from my house). Could be UPS is more efficient and the phone only needs to go to the Philadelphia DC before delivery.

Just want to be able to track it like everyone else! :smileyhappy:

lmwsport, same here. i just want to be able to track it. frustrating. this phone is for a family member (i got the 4 back in February). last time, I ordered through Apple, and ended up getting it a day and a half later than my friend who ordered through Verizon. figured it would be different this time. i guess only time will tell.

on an amusing side note, it was hilarious tracking my iPhone 4 back in February, because it kept bouncing back and forth for 2 days to and from "Chek Lap Kok, China". :smileyvery-happy:

Just got my FedEx tracking number and it works just fine. Shipment left Memphis today with a scheduled delivery for Friday. I didn't even bother getting up and ordering mine until after 10am on the 7th.

All UPS tracking you will see it moving anytime after 7pm. All there packages new shipments start moving at night that's how it aways is just be p

Well I gO my email letter this morning it got shipped. Shipping ups at 6:22 pm got shipping label was created and hats it anyone else with this

Your UPS tracking number should now work on UPS website if it just says Order Processed Ready for UPS most likely it will start moving tomorrow. It means a label was created but not yet picked up by UPS. It will probably get picked up tomorrow then go to sort facility then to truck for next day delivery before 3pm.

UPS often doesn't pick up packages until the end of the day like 5 or 6 and sometimes doesn't even start moving them until 11PM or later. But I've always gotten my stuff two days or less from when the ship date was. I order a lot of stuff using Amazon Prime. Also note it can take a few hours to update the tracking, especially when therea high volume. Be patient, there's no reason to worry yet. Like oneil said you will prob see it start moving tomorrow.

And oneill I don't think UPS has time guarantees for residential delivery. I've had packages delivered as late as 10PM during the holidays. And I would also bet FedEx may not even meet theirs with so many iPhones being shipped. But they may, I guess we'll see Friday.

Yes with stuff like this Verizon pays to have it delivered to you by a certain time (lets say 3pm) it cost extra but they have to have it to you by then like UPS has next day by 8am next day by 10am and so on. That's how it is. But when you by a pair of shoes from eBay and it ships ground you get it anytime but before 7pm at least east cost time UPS does not deliver after 7pm because they have new package they need to get to sort facility. I do a lot of shipping and am pretty knowledgeable about this stuff. You should see on your tracking number tomorrow estimated delivery 14 th by 3pm.

Also Holidays are a whole different story but UPS has a cut off time for delivery time east cost I think its 7pm

Finally updated--my phone is in Louisville as of 20 min ago. Delivery by EOD tomorrow.

Ordered around 10am friday, finally got my tracking info at 3am this morning but still getting that "UPS cannot locate the shipment details for your request" message. On the east coast so hoping it is somewhere close so i will get it tomorrow!
