PLEASE HELP- iPhone 4 Activation

I am really at a loss here. I am trying to activate my iPhone 4. I got it in the mail today & it has the right mobile # on the receipt & everything. I log into my Apple account & terms and conditions comes up. I hit "I Accept" & enter my iPhone information to register it. Then the "waiting on Activation" icon goes off on my iPhone & I assume its activated. I go to try and set up my VM (I'm a new customer) & it says my mobile number is invalid. When I look in the phone settings it says my mobile number is 0000000" and some other numbers. I have restored the iPhone, and tried to hook it back up to iTunes, but nothing happens. Please help!!!!

Call into VZW to get them to further assist you with activation (I can't recall the exact fix or if your issue is the same but when my cousin had an activation issue she was able to get help over the phone). Also, you might want to try dialing *228 and choosing option 1 to see if that helps. Try that first (if it will allow you to) and if it doesn't work call VZW (or visit VZW).
